Century Netbook Stand...

A friend sent me a link on this very creative gadget couple of days ago and I must admit I’m quite amazed by the concept of it. As the Jap call it, NETTOBUKKU SUTANDO, equipped with an optical drive as well as a dedicated slot for an external harddisk. It also has a cooling fan that can be adjusted. Looks typically like any notebook cooling pad but a far more sophisticated one. I certainly hope that there’s one that could fit a 12’ laptop and is available in Malaysia. Or maybe I can DIY one. Family Carrier For Me???

Just got back from a weekend trip in Cameron Highland over the long weekend holiday and I must say it was a rather tiring one. Getting stuck in the jam for hours is really a total pain in the ass. I’d really think twice the next time anyone invites me for road trips during Public Holiday period.

This time we had a Toyota Altis ferrying 4 adults and a kid throughout the trip. Although it wasn’t at all cramped but it wasn’t very comfortable either. It got me thinking how nice if I could be in a MPV. Something that could fit 7-8 people comfortably without having everyone squeezing themselves until you could barely move your ass. I couldn't stop dreaming taking a nap on the body hugging seat of the spacious MPV while I could still have enough space to do a little stretching when I wake up. :P Maybe I could get one of these...

Nissan Serena C24

145hp 2L QR20DE engine, seems to be pretty sufficient. At least better than Proton Exora’s 1.4 tonne body weight but with only a 1.6L 125hp “generator”.

Very nicely done up Serena.

Fabulous tuned Nissan Serena

Another very nicely done up Serena

Oh well, I could dream all I can. I'm pretty happy with what I have for now. Guess it'd only be applicable maybe in the next 2-3 years time. Back to the trip, it was quite an interesting one, although bored at times. The weather was really cooling and I'm sure I enjoyed that a lot. I managed to also spend sometime with people that I hardly speak to, who would one day be my family and I think it was great that the trip had made us closer (at least a wee bit lah…hehe).
